Bio

Leah Herzing is an artist and writer in Central Illinois. She recieved her MFA in Creative Writing at Pacific Northwest College of Art at Willamette University. She also studied Art, Writing, and Graphic Design at Goshen College and Columbia College Chicago, and completed her BA in English Literature & Writing at Marylhurst University.

BLANKETS THESIS: THREE DIMENSIONAL STUDY

 A component of my thesis for my MFA at PNCA @ Willamette U was to explore a way to interperate my written word, a hybrid memoir, BLANKETS, into a 3-dimensional object. My final concept was created, boxed, and shipped to the school in Portland, where it was given to the annonymous guest artist/author I was paired with for my thesis review.
